Glasgow Humane Society has been saving lives on and around Glasgow’s waterways for over 230 years. Founded in 1790, we are the oldest practical lifesaving organisation in the world. Countless Glaswegians owe their lives to the Officers, Volunteers and Directors of the Society.

Are you looking for a new challenge? Would you like to learn new skills and gain recognised qualifications? Do you want to help us save lives on Glasgow's waterways? We are looking to recruit volunteers to assist us with both our operational work and to support our charitable operations.
