What can I do on My Voice?

There is a variety of topics which relate to your experience as a student at the college. If you have an idea for one of the topics you can post this onto the website. This is a chance for you to share any ideas that you think would help improve your time, as well as other (and future) students at the College. 

How do I get onto My Voice?

You will need to login to MyCity to access My Voice. On the homepage of MyCity you'll see 'My Voice' listed as one of the five apps. By logging in through MyCity, you'll be signed into My Voice straight away and an account with automatically be generated. 

Why should I use My Voice?

The Students' Association is very passionate about championing the student voice and reaching out to students in as many ways as possible. We believe that this platform will transform how you communicate and engage with the college. We are very excited to give you the power to be heard! 

What happens after I post an idea? 

Once you have posted an idea in response to a topic, that idea is now open for all students to vote on. Students can rate an idea from 1-5 stars an leave an optional comment which can be for, neutral or against the idea. 

Who decides on which ideas are successful? 

The group is managed by the Students' Association and all ideas posted on My Voice are considered by the My Voice Representation Team and the Student Representative Council (SRC). 

If your idea has received a large positive response from the student population, we will then take the necessary steps to action them. This ongoing process will be fed back to you through My Voice. 

What if I have a suggestion for a new topic? 

Please email citysa@cityofglasgowcollege.ac.uk with your suggestion for a new topic. 

Unnacceptable Content 

Students are liable and will be head accountable for the content that they post. Unnacceptable & Offensive content includes, but is not limited to; racial, religious, sexual, political, discriminatory or indecency. For more information please read the College's Social Media Policy. 

If students breach any of the College's policies, they may be subject to disciplinary action.
