Creative & Feature Writing

Writing Network is a cozy space to work on your creative piece, share it with others, get feedback, and practice writing feature articles or poems. The network is excited to meet you and hear your ideas in a safe and inclusive space. Come along and let your talents soar. Any student interested in creative or/and feature writing can join this society regardless of their previous experience; everyone is welcome to learn and share.

What to expect and how to join?

After clicking the joining button, you will be added to a Network Hub, where you can communicate with other members and see updates about the network. All the updates will be posted by Polly, your Vice President Social and Activities or a Network Lead. Network leads are students who will set up and organise the network's meetings. They also help the Students' Association run and promote their network. 

Meet your Network Lead

Our Creative and Feature Writing Network Lead is Jessica. Jess is an HND Journalism student who likes writing, true crime, and football. She was actively involved in Student Parliament last year and is currently doing a role of Faculty Ambassador in our Students' Association. 

Network lead is a responsible role that opens you an opportunity to learn new skills and achieve a volunteering certificate by the end of the year.
