How my mental health affects my daily life and how I manage my studies

Hi my name is Noor Fatima and I am studying at city of Glasgow collage in access to business and finance. Today I will tell you that how I manage my studies with migraines. I got migraine problem from last 3 to 4 years and sometimes they are severe even I can’t focus on my studies.

First what is migraines?

  • The neurological medical condition that causes severe headache pain accompanied by nausea, dizziness, and visual disturbances is known as a migraine headache.

Disadvantages of migraine on my daily life:

  • Reduced enjoyment or involvement in family activities

  • Decreased work hours and financial security

  • Spending time in the dark or in isolation

  • Feeling helpless, depressed, or misunderstood

How I manage my studies with migraines

  • Take medicines regularly

  • Take small breaks after every hour

  • Take something sweet while studying

  • use low lights so I can focus more

  • drink coffee or tea

  • do not think anything else while studying

  • be hydrated

  • avoid salty foods

  • study in a quiet and less noise place

In the last I will say that migraine is tough but if you follow the treatment and eat less salt and keep yourself hydrated then you can prevent your migraine. Migraine is not your weakness make this your strength.
