The UK Government has announced the next general election on Thursday 4th of July. It is now a legal requirement for you to show photo ID when voting in elections.
The Students' Association will be on campus helping you register to vote and sign up for a FREE Citizens Card. All you need to bring is your passport, driving license or European National ID card. If you don’t have the above, you can also bring the following:
• Adoption certificate
• Biometric Home Office photo ID
• Birth certificate
• Certified copy of a birth certificate
• Disclosure and Barring Service certificate (DBS)
• European National ID Card (must bear a recent likeness to you)
• Global or European Health Insurance Card
• Gender Recognition Certificate
• Ministry of Defence Form 90 (Defence Identity Card)
• NHS Medical Card
• Passport (UK or International; must bear a recent likeness to you)
• Photo Driving Licence (UK or European; must bear a recent likeness to you)
• Proof of Age Standards Scheme card
• UK Marriage certificate which states applicant's date of birth
• UK Naturalisation Certificate
You will find us on the second floor at City Campus on the 11th & 12th of June from 12-2pm. We will also be at the Students' Association (Ground floor) at Riverside on the 11th of June 12-2pm.
