Applicants can expect to hear back regarding their application from the 9th of December. We will make every effort to get vouchers to successful applicants before the winter break, however, please note that we cannot guarantee this timeline.
What is the Gender Affirming Grant?
The grant aims to reduce the physical, mental, and financial barriers caused by gender dysphoria (a sense of distress or discomfort around an aspect of someone’s gender experience). Gender dysphoria can have a huge impact on an individual’s well-being, health and comfort participating in college life. Unfortunately, many gender-affirming items that help to alleviate dysphoria are financially out of reach for students.
Successful applicants may receive up to £40 worth of voucher from their chosen site. The amount received depends on the number of applicants and the total amount allocated to the grant for the term.
