Did you know we have our own LGBTQ+ Network that meets every Wednesday evening? The network is a great way to meet new people within the LGBTQIA+ community at City.
Shops, Cafés and Bars
Category Is Books is an independent LGBTQIA+ bookshop in the southside of Glasgow.
Wellbeing Cafe is a drop-in space for LGBTQIA+ people on the first Monday of every month from 6pm - 7:30pm.
The Language Cafe is a space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community in Glasgow to share languages and cultures. They meet every third Moday of the month from 6pm - 8pm.
Arts
Glasgow Zine Library host queer inclusive and disability friendly events.
Lock up your daughter is a queer magazine and film-making collective that also host screenings and events. The team meet every month in Glasgow city centre.
SQIFF (Scottish Queer International Film Festival) runs annually across Scotland.
Rainbow Ukes is a weekly community group where you can learn to play the ukulele.
Sancturary Queer Arts run a weekly online group for LGBTQIA+ Elders to connect, catch up and chat. The group meet every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Sober Groups
LGBT Health & Wellbeing host many different events such as mental health support, crafts, and Trans and Non-Binary specific nights. All the events are sober and free to attend.
LGBTQ Sober Socials is a Facebook meet-up group that holds regular events in queer spaces around Glasgow.
QuTo is a Glasgow based collective that organises sober events.
BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of colour)
QTIPOC Writers Group is an Edinburgh based meet-up group for QTIPOC (Queer, Trans, intersex People of Colour) writers to explore and develop their stories and writing.
QTIPOC Scotland is a Facebook page for QTIPOC in Scotland to meet new people, organise events and share information.
Mojxmma organises QTIPOC focused club nights based in Glasgow and Edinburgh with concession tickets for POC folk.
Straycats Papercraft Club meet monthly for LGBTQ+ People of Colour (POC) to hang out and do some crafting.
Trans and Non-Binary
Small Trans Library organises library events in Glasgow, bringing the community together in local artistic spaces with recurring events centring on creativity and safety among trans peers.
Non-Binary Night is a welcoming inclusive social space for nonbinary and genderqueer people (16+) in Glasgow. They meet every third Wednesday of the month from 7pm - 9pm.
T Time is an informal monthly social meetup open to all trans and nonbinary people (16+) in Glasgow.
Sport
The Glasgow Honeydews run free baseball training sessions and games for women and all LGBTQIA+ folk.
